Argan kernel seed oil
Argan oil is a moisturizing, emollient plant oil that contains vitamin E, polyphenols, linoleic acids, and omega fatty acids that all help to improve skin moisture barrier function, soften skin, and enhance skin cell membrane fluidity so they function better overall. Its polyphenols and vitamin E act as antioxidants, protecting skin against pollutant and UV-induced environmental and oxidative stress. Linoleic and omega fatty acids, in addition to moisturizing skin, reduce inflammation. Despite being an emollient oil, argan oil is non-comedogenic and is considered safe for acne-prone skin.
